We raise community awareness of the positive impact agriculture makes in our lives.
Our project seeks to expand our volunteer-driven work. We hope to engage more volunteers to go to harvesting locations to “glean” excess produce left behind in the fields that otherwise might go to waste, and deliver that produce to local food banks.
Funding will help us reach 350 volunteers, provide up to 800 cartons of fresh produce, host 4 gleaning events in 2024 and reimburse transportation costs to food banks if needed.
