When seniors and people with disabilities living on limited incomes are not able to afford small repairs and updates to their homes, Damians Ladder provides these at low or no-cost to enable our clients to stay in their homes and enjoy a good quality of life.
Grab bars, stair rails, floor lighting, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, ADA toilets, and other small repairs reduce the risk of falls and improve safety and comfort in the home. We ensure that low-income seniors and people with disabilities in Santa Cruz County can access necessary home adaptations.
Our fully qualified and background-checked Service Volunteers provide the labor. Funding from grants will allow us to purchase materials needed for these modifications.
