Eat for the Earth makes it easier for people to eat more plants and less animal products to sustain all life on Earth. Many in our community are suffering from diet-caused chronic health conditions that lead to disability and early death for far too many of our loved ones. Dietary choices also cause harm by contributing to the myriad environmental challenges we face.
Eat for the Earth empowers people to respond to these crises by adopting healthy, sustainable, plant-based diets.
Chronic diet-related conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and high cholesterol are on the rise in youth. The food system that wreaks havoc with both adult and youth health is also harming the Earth.
Eat Well empowers youth to choose foods that support individual and planetary health. Our engaging presentations in schools across the county will aid youth to feel good, reduce their risk of chronic disease, and contribute positively to environmental sustainability.
Your support can amplify our work, and for this, we are grateful!
Eat for the Earth's presentation inspired our cadets to think critically about food, sustainability, and their role in creating a healthier planet. The interactive approach kept the youth engaged and sparked meaningful conversations.
