The Santa Cruz Children’s Museum of Discovery provides interactive learning adventures for our community—cultivating curiosity, creativity, and exploration for children and caregivers.
You are invited to be part of a truly magical journey by supporting the creation of The Enchanted Forest Adventure. This exhibit will be a captivating space where children can let their imaginations soar as they explore a mystical forest filled with wonder and adventure that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for storytelling.
Your generous contribution will help us build a hobbit hole, a climbable stump, and interactive elements that engage young minds in imaginative play and learning.
We provide play-based science, engineering, and arts education to around 50,000 people per year in our community. Research finds that this type of “guided play” can lead to stronger learning and development outcomes and stronger academic gains than formal curriculum during early childhood—a critical time to learn. We are active in school classrooms across districts from PVUSD to Soquel Unified.
This place is amazing! We spent over 3 hours here and my son didn't get bored at all. They did a very good job at using every single space and turned each space into a different learning experience.
