As a community-supported kitchen and pantry, we assist the people of the Pajaro Valley with nutritious food and education dedicated to alleviating hunger among working families, farmworkers, and elderly, disabled, and homeless individuals.
For 30 +years we’ve been a frontline, boot-strapping food pantry and lunch program touching thousands of lives with a limited budget and efficient operations carried out by hundreds of volunteers and a small-but-nimble staff. We receive, store and distribute more than 600,000 pounds of food each year and serve over 31,000 hot, nutritious meals.
Loaves and Fishes serves the community no-cost healthy lunches made fresh each day. This project will help reopen the dining area following the pandemic, and expand it to allow for safer environment for lunch guests, volunteers, and staff.
Please join us in making healthy food accessible to our neighbors in need.
This lunch makes it easier to live here because it is so expensive. It's nice someone cares about me, and I like the enchiladas the best.
