Vets 4 Vets is a Santa Cruz nonprofit made up of veterans and friends creating community and assisting our veteran brothers and sisters in need. Our objective is to fill in the gap in services where veterans’ needs are not met through traditional veteran resources. These needs include social connection, emergency funds, transportation to medical appointments, free moving and home repair assistance, and more.
We connect veterans with each other and the broader community through our community-focused events like veteran art showcases, bowling tournaments, chili cook-offs, and monthly meetings.
Through these events, we raise awareness of veteran suicide rates and mental health challenges, addressing isolation through social engagement and active participation. By offering both critical support and meaningful community-building events, Vets 4 Vets serves all veterans and their families in Santa Cruz County. Your support helps improve the quality of life for veterans while creating a stronger, more connected community.
